Not a nice metaphor for you here. It is not nested in a transparent and smooth as the finest Japanese silk. This is not the robust, reliable, solid Chevy, which will take a plane or what ever the case. To be honest … 3G network coverage from AT & T is a bit spotty.

To their credit, the credit card is very good for the users. It can be misleading at first. You start with this card covered in blue. There are data coverage provided, that the eye can see. Crusty blue sea open for you and your iPhone 3G jetski a phone or broadband card.

Then enter your postal address. And now it is dark blue, again! Mobile Broadband, we are here!

They are waiting for the decision, is not it?

If you look at a map, just the AT & T’s mobile broadband shows in blue, you will see that only the big cities will be covered. Everywhere else is EDGE, which is unbearably slow when you are used to broadband speeds.

AT & T actually said himself:

“The AT & T 3G / Broadband Connect is currently available in most major metropolitan areas and is growing rapidly … EDGE is AT & T high speed national wireless data network in over 13,000 cities and towns and along nearly 40,000 miles of the highway.”

This brought them all the best. In other words, it is not in many places, but you can get almost anywhere EDGE. It’s true. They do not just say, the pace of a snail that moves to EDGE.

The verdict:
AT & T Wireless Broadband coverage is correct. Certainly not phenomenal. Given the enormous burden of the I-Phones flood their network, they have their infrastructure in the department of mobile broadband in 2009. If you live in an urban area, you will most likely be covered.
